4. Scheduling, Cancellations & Payments

4.1 Scheduling

  • Sessions must be scheduled in advance.

  • Email is acceptable for scheduling; booking through the website (when available) is encouraged.

4.2 Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged the full session fee.

4.3 Payments

  • Payment is due at the time of service.

  • Accepted payment methods: Zelle, Venmo, check, and cash.

4.4 Refunds

  • All payments are non-refundable.

  • Bundled packages must be used within six (6) months.

  • Unused sessions expire after 6 months and are not refunded.

5. Client/Family Responsibilities

To support effective progress, families agree to:

  • Attend sessions on time

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Participate in communication as needed

6. Therapist Responsibilities & Limitations

We strive to provide high-quality, evidence-based services. However, we do not guarantee:

  • Academic placement decisions

  • Educational outcomes

  • Medical diagnoses

  • Insurance reimbursement

We do not complete school-required forms, diagnostic medical paperwork, or evaluations for external institutions unless explicitly agreed upon.

7. Termination of Services

We may discontinue services for reasons including:

  • Consistent missed appointments

  • Non-payment

  • Lack of participation or follow-through

  • Safety concerns

  • Conflicts of interest

  • Misalignment of service needs

Clients may end services at any time; payments remain non-refundable.

8. Communication Policies

  • Email is the preferred method of communication.

  • Texting is discouraged except for brief logistical matters.

  • Sensitive or private information should not be shared via text.

  • Emails are typically answered within reasonable business hours.

9. Teletherapy

While teletherapy is not typically offered, if a teletherapy session occurs:

  • A parent or responsible adult must be present for minors.

  • A safe, quiet environment is required.

  • A stable internet connection is necessary.

  • We are not responsible for technical issues on the client’s end.

10. Website Content & Third-Party Links

  • We aim to keep website information accurate but cannot guarantee error-free or uninterrupted access.

  • Use of the website is at your own risk.

  • We are not responsible for content on third-party sites linked from ours.
